Roundtable: Due diligence as an enabler of Forest & Nature-based Projects

Due diligence plays a crucial role in nature-based investments. It serves as a bridge between financial aspirations and environmental responsibility. Xilva is committed to using due diligence as an enabler for the financing of nature-based projects by providing a standardized, data-driven framework and methodology to consistently evaluate nature-based projects.

On 25 September, Xilva's co-founders Tim Duehrkoop and Jamie Micah Lawrence will be sharing our unique formula for nature-based due diligence with Foundation Development and Climate Alliance's supporting members at its 8th Company-Roundtable. The Foundation Development and Climate Alliance, or Stiftung Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima, is an alliance of more than 1500 members in the private, public and civic sectors initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Some of the topics they will cover:
✅ How due diligence for nature-based investments is done
✅ Best practices & learnings (from applying Xilva GRADE on over 100 assessments)
✅ Common red flags and risks
✅ A case study

To participate, please contact the Foundation directly.
